Bartakke Electrofab Pvt. Ltd is a young dynamic company involved in manufacturing of enclosures of all types for electrical and electronic industry.
The company was established by Mr.Ajit Vasudeo Bartakke in 1990 at Satara a vibrant city 100 km from Pune and 250 km from Mumbai, India.
The company started as a small-scale industry and has since graduated to medium scale status now.
We introduced the concept of standardized enclosures and designs for electrical, electronic industry.
We are the pioneers in the field of enclosures in India.
The first standard design was developed and offered to customers in 1991 under product name RSB. This was the revolutionary concept for the industry. In 1994-95 we introduced a new design for extensible enclosure type HF this was also a revolutionary design were the structure of the enclosure was completely covered and not observed from outside.
The year 96 saw us introduce a range of products type WM and WMT for boxes and panels as small as 150X150X80 to any large size.
We introduced in 2005 a modular design using riveting technology for assembly of enclosures. This design is offered as RV for non compartmentalized & RVCP for compartmentalized designs. This has resulted in economically attractive products for the Indian industry. We have recently received a patent for this design, a first for any Indian Manufacturer for enclosure.
From a modest turnover of Rs 1.3 million we have now crossed a figure of Rs 100 million, in FY 2006-07.

Machines are as good as the people behind them. We have a dedicated team lead by a Factory Manager and ably assisted by Engineers and Supervisors. This team is well supported by a trained workforce. All our workers are ITI trained with over 10 years experience. All our workers are absorbed raw and trained so that they are not only experts in their work but they are also used to our work culture.
Bartakke Electrofab Pvt. Ltd factory is situated near Satara a midsize town 100 km from Pune and 250 km from Mumbai by road.
We have two factories one on land of 3000 sq. meters with a built up shade of 1068 sq. mts. ground floor and 700 sq. mts. first floor. The second factory premises of 1250 sq. mts. on plot of 5000 sq. mts.
The Machines: - We have a range of sophisticated CNC Machines to process various operations with high repeat accuracy, consistent quality and assured performance. Shearing, Punching and Bending the three most important fabrication operations are carried out on Hydraulic CNC /NC controlled machines.
Welding is entirely done on CO2 welders, TIG welders, Stud welding machines and such special machines only.
All cabinets are powder coated. We have a full-fledged 8-tank conveyor Spray bonderizing plant for superior bonding between base metal and paint. Powder-coating ensures high finish with superior aesthetics.
The workshop has the following Machinery / Equipments
1. Finn Power make CNC TPP model E5-25. This is a state of the art servo drive controlled machine. It has the latest forming and punching capabilities and is the first such machine in India. The CAD/CAM software for the machine is one of the latest in the world. The machine is capable of very fine accuracies for punching and formimg.
2. Hindustan Hydraulic India make single station TPP. Type Vectra SSP –1250/25
3. Hindustan Hydraulic India make NC control shearing machine capacity 6mm x 3000mm.
4. Hindustan Hydraulic India make Hydraulic press brake with NC control back gauge size 110 tones x 3000 mm.
5. Trimans India make Hydraulic press brake with manual back guage size 50 tones x 2500 mm.
6. MIG and TIG welding machines.
7. Nordson Australia make conveyorized Powder Coating Booth and Applicator Guns.
8. Spray type Pre-treatment Plant.
9. Hump Back Oven for the above conveyorised plant.
10. A complete assembly line for assembly of enclosure before dispatch.

We provide complete technical support for design and development of enclosures to meet customer’s specific and special requirements. For these we have a team of experience officers. Designs are made on latest State of the art Cad system from M/s Solid Works (USA)
We have a full-fledge Pretreatment and Powder Coating plant.
The Pretreatment plant incorporates spray type process for Cleaning, Degreasing, Washing, Activation, Phosphating , Washing , Passivation. Using a conveyorised system for transporting of parts and surface treatment by Spray system.
The phosphated parts are then Powder Coated in a booth of M/s Nordson Australia Make with six reciprocating powder application guns. The parts are then oven cured at temperature of 180 – 200 degree.

Keeping in mind the varied nature of requirements and specifications of different clients, we keep the prospects of design flexibility open, in order to fulfill specific client needs, if and when required. Thus, on suitable demand, we also manufacture custom made products to the client’s satisfaction.
Our wide range of products also include the manufacture of special cabinets for Control and Instrumentation Applications, Control Desks and Pendants and even Compartmentalised Cabinets.

The most important aspects of our cabinets are their superior aesthetics, finish and accuracy.The basic raw material used is Sheet Steel – only CRCA - purchased directly from reputed manufacturers and not through dealers.The cabinets are fully powder-coated for a highly sophisticated finish.
